Located on the Cannock Road in Burntwood, John Joseph Funeral Home opened in August 2021, occupying what was once a local GP surgery.

It was a long held dream of Jack’s to open a premises in his hometown of Burntwood. The funeral home is located just up the road from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, where Jack’s passion for funeral directing began.

We named this funeral home after our Grandad, John Joseph O’Malley who made Burntwood his chosen home after moving from County Mayo, Ireland, as a young man. Our Grandad was a dedicated and hard-working man who cherished his family, he was also an active member of the local community. We are proud to carry his name and legacy forward as O’Malleys as we work to care for loved-ones in Burntwood and the surrounding areas that meant so much to him.

We know that stepping foot in a funeral home can be an intimidating and daunting prospect. John Joseph Funeral Home is designed to feel as much like a home as possible, so that families are put at ease when visiting us. As with our Cannock funeral home, the premises is fully equipped with all the facilities to care for your loved one.
