We are all family at O’Malleys and it is our promise to treat all those we care for and support as if they are family too. Managing Director Jack, along with siblings Luke and Grace, are also supported by family members Andy, John, Ian and Ryan who assist on funeral services.

Jack O’Malley - Managing Director

All funerals conducted at O'Malley Family Funerals are personally overseen by Jack.

His exposure to funerals began whilst altar serving in his childhood at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Burntwood. After assisting voluntarily at many funerals he became actively involved in the wider funeral profession at the age of 16 even working whilst completing his A-level studies and during his time at the University of Birmingham where he obtained his Honours degree in English.

Following 3 years working as Senior Funeral Director at an independent firm, Jack set up O'Malley Family Funerals in 2017.

Grace O’Malley - Office Manager

Grace, the youngest O’Malley sibling, joined the family business in 2018. She ensures those we care for get all the support they need, whether that be practical advice or simply a friendly chat. She also assists in ensuring the smooth running of all funeral services at O’Malleys, making arrangements with families to ensure their loved-one gets the service they deserve as well carrying out preparation of loved-ones and supporting families at funeral services. (Her previous experience as a barista also means she makes great teas and coffees!)

Luke O’Malley - Assistant Funeral Director

Luke is the oldest O’Malley sibling. Luke is on hand to take care of the finer details regarding the care of your loved one. He spends a lot of his time on the road, bringing loved-ones into our care and visiting families at their own homes to support them. In addition to conducting funerals, Luke is also in charge of cleaning and maintaining our funeral vehicles as well as driving them on funerals to ensure loved-ones have the smoothest possible final journey.
